As part of its initiatives under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the company has undertaken various projects in the areas of education, health and infrastructure development.

Skill Building & Livelihood

Project Name: Sustainable Livelihood Solutions

Aim: Training and establishing micro-enterprises/livelihood solutions for augmenting income levels of youth and farmers

Key Objectives

• Conducting electrical, plumbing, carpentry training
• Micro-Enterprise development including motorcycle workshop, beautician, grocery stores (Bank linkages)
• Livelihood training for livestock and agriculture enhancement

Expected Outcome

• Increase average Income level against the baseline
• Households to be linked to various livelihood-based development schemes
• Maximum focus on Affirmative Action and Women participation

Education

Project Name: Holistic School Education Program

Aim: Link students to mainstream school education, provide academic support sessions and career awareness.

Key Objectives

• Learning improvement sessions for children – Math, Science, Reading, Comprehension
• Life Skill Education for adolescents
• Career awareness and soft skills training for higher class students
• Strengthening of School Management Committee

Expected Outcome

• Improve school attendance and academic performance against the baseline
• Reduce Drop-out rates against the baseline

Development of Village Mota Isnapur, Gujarat

Central Government’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ initiative has been a true inspiration for Bharat Engineering. Mr. Mukesh Kumar, promoter of the company, has adopted his native village Mota Isnapur, Ta. Gandhinagar as a part of the company’s CSR activities and has endeavored to provide basic amenities and infrastructure to the residents of the village and improve their standard of living. Though it is a continuous journey of growth, Bharat Engineering has completed many projects at Village Mota Isnapur.

Under this project, we have constructed new toilets, a primary school, cement concrete roads across village, entry gate, aangan wadi, park, temples, OPD consulting room & staff quarters in Bharat Engineering Group trust hospital. Also, renovation work was carried out for completely damaged houses.

Renovation of Government School at Faridabad, Agra, Jaipur, Mathura, Jabalpur

The company has undertaken a project to promote education by conservation and renovation of Government school situated at Faridabad, Agra, Jaipur, Mathura, Jabalpur.

The Philanthropic practices include charitable activities, religious, commercial and educational uplifting of the society. Community Initiatives

We sincerely believe that any business objective of ours is futile if in some little way, it doesn’t benefit the community and the society as a whole. Beyond work, all of our projects that we are commissioned to do, we attach social values to them such as charitable activities, generous donations, religious & educational upliftment of the society. We are actively involved in the efficient running of several hospitals such as Kalyan Eye Hospital and the Jan Kalyan Hospital. We have also promoted several environmental activities in the last few years such as the “Green Ahmedabad Event” where we planted a record number of 35000 trees all over Ahmedabad.
